Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria stated that No Nurse shall be allowed to practice or continue to practice in any year except such a Nurse has paid Licensing fees as prescribed by the Council. The licence renewal fee is not much, if you default in paying your fee for any year, you will be penalized when paying the next year.
Requirements For Renewal Of Licence
Completed Licensing form
Two (2) recent identical coloured passport photographs with white background
Expired licence
Photocopies of certificates of registration
Photocopy of certificate of attendance for Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Programme (MCPDP).
Original evidence of Payment for renewal and penalty of N5,250 for each year of default on Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria’s platform through REMITA (TSA).
Mode Of Payment
All payment will be made through REMITA. Permit me to explain nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria REMITA payment to you properly.
You can make your licence renewal payment on remitta following the instructions bellow
Visit TSA Remita Payment Platform
Enter “Nursing and Midwifery Council – 052101100100” in the column for Name of MDA
Click on the name of service/purpose and select Licensing and updating fees
Enter Licence Renewal as your description
Enter the amount you are supposed to pay in the box provided.
Provide your email address and phone numbers before clicking on proceed to make payment.
A REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) would be generated. This is a unique payment reference for your transaction.
Take your REMITA Number to any bank and make your payment.

Requirements For Issuance Of License
The requirements for Issuance of Licence are as follows:
First Licencing after Graduation
Identification letter from the school of training
Completed Licencing form
Photocopies of certificates of previous registrations as applicable
Two (2) recent identical coloured passport photographs with white backgound
Original evidence of Payment of N10,500 on Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria platform through REMITA (TSA).
