NIMC Portal: Registration Form and 2017 Recruitment

NIMC stands for National Identity Management Commission. They are the body in charge of managing the National Identity Management System (NIMS) they enroll and give out National Identity card to Nigerians.

They only issue National Identification Numbers to qualified citizens and legal residents of Nigeria. They create and operates national identity database.

For one reason or the other, you might be looking for their portal. Maybe you want to work at their office or you want to pre-Enroll for Online Identity card.

Whatsoever reason you might have, I have decided to share in details the NIMC portal and different services they offer which you can benefit from.

Ranging from the online pre-enrollment, recruitment exercise and tracking your NIMC ID card.

Everything we are going to discus here will be rooted to the above website. All portals are linked to the main website and it services as the official website of the organization.

The Enrolment Process is shortened when you pre-enroll. The NIMC does not charge for enrolment or pre enrolment. Please ask to see either the coordinator or supervisor if you encounter any difficulties at any our ERCs after pre enrolment.

You will be guided on how to download the NIMC Registration form in PDF, study it before filling it online or at the office.

Here is the Guide:

  1. Applicant visits NIMC website to access the Pre-Enrolment Portal: https://penrol.nimc.gov.ng and the online Enrolment Form.
  2. Applicant fills the Enrolment Form online, prints out a summary sheet with a 2D Barcode and heads to any NIMC Enrolment Centre.
  3. Applicant verifies and confirms the enrolment data on the system.
  4. Applicant has his/her headshot photograph, fingerprints and signature captured.
  5. Applicant has his/her supporting documents scanned.
  6. Applicant’s enrolment is acknowledged; two slips are generated and given to the applicant: (a) Transaction Slip (b) NIN Slip indicating completion of enrolment.

If you have enrolled for the NIMC ID Card, you can track it online and know whether it is ready or not.

It is simple and easy to track, just follow the steps bellow

Here is How to:

Visit https://touch.nimc.gov.ng

Click on the button to proceed

Enter your name and National Identification Number (NIN)

Click on check now to track the status of your card.

With the steps above, you can check the status of your identity card. If it is ready, you can go to your registration center to collect it. If not yet ready, then check back letter.

NIMC Recruitment 2017/2018 Portal

Currently, there is no vacancy at National identity management commission recruitment 2017.

The Commission is also currently NOT engaged in any recruitment exercise, further information can be gotten on the Careers page.

Warning:

Beware of Fraudsters posing as National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Agents or Staff.

Do not pay money to anyone offering to help you speed up the NIN enrolment process or get the National e-ID card for you. You have to enroll and collect your card, when it is ready, yourself.

Collection of NIN and Card can ONLY be done at NIMC Enrolment Centres nationwide.
