A year ago, the Federal Government of Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari announced the commencement of NPOWER Recruitment.
It was successfully conducted in all the states across the country. Many Nigerians decided to apply, some applied successfully while others couldn’t make it. But all hope was not lost because there is another opportunity to apply.
What is NPOWER?
I believe that every single Nigerians knows what Npower is all about. For clarification purposes, let me run a brief introduction before I proceed to the subject matter.
Npower Programme is all about empowering youths on Skills acquisition and knowledge which the federal government believes is the driving forces of economic growth and social development.
According to Portal.npower.gov.ng, N-Power addresses the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large-scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.
In my recent update, I talked about the various portals in npower. Those looking to apply will do that on a separate portal while others looking to write the test, update BVN and other things need to use another portal.
If you want to register for 2017/2018 Npower Recruitment, here is a guide to follow. When you follow the guide dully, you will definitely be selected. There are areas to pay attention to in the course of online registration.
The name in your BVN must correspond to the name you are going to use in the NPOWER Registration. If you just weeded and needed to do a change of name, be sure to do it first before applying for the recruitment opportunity.
Npower Application Requirements
Who can apply for this great opportunity?
It is worthy to note that only Nigerian citizen within a specific age range is eligible to apply. You must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years to be eligible.
Each programme or categories have their own requirements which you are going to see here. N-Power Volunteers Corps is only for graduates.
Their minimum requirement is your NYSC Call-Up Letter or discharge certificate. You might not need to upload it online during registration but at the course of your interview and selection, you will need to provide them.
During the 2017 online registration, many people were happy and ready to be selected. But it’s not in their power to decide.
The npower recruitment body will release the list of all successful candidates when the right time comes. This should be after proper screening and marking of the assessment test that was conducted online.
